TAG MY TOE - Acoustic Band

Due righe per presentarci:

I Tag My Toe nascono come quartetto nel 2011 da un’idea di Fabrizio Zortea (voce) e Riccardo Stura (chitarra), due musicisti che dopo una vita passata a suonare cover di ogni tipo sentono il bisogno di suonare brani inediti.
Inizialmente il genere trae ispirazione dai riff potenti dei Black Sabbath, dalle melodie vocali degli Alice In Chains e da un certo retrogusto "southern" alla Down – Black Label Society.
Dopo alcuni cambi di line-up e aver visto che le migliori realizzazioni sono quelle acustiche, i due membri fondatori rimangono da soli e nel settembre 2012 decidono di auto-prodursi, dando alle stampe il disco d’esordio “This fear that clouds our minds”: undici pezzi di rock acustico e malinconico dove Johnny Cash incontra gli Alice In Chains e Morricone va a braccetto con i Black Sabbath.
Ora l’intenzione è di promuovere al meglio il disco dal vivo e trovare un’etichetta discografica che punti sul progetto Tag My Toe in maniera seria e senza snaturarne il sound.

a quick update on who we are:

Tag My Toe were born a 4 piece metal band, gettin' inspiration from old Sabbath, Alice In Chains melody lines and from southern rock groups with a bit of Black Label Society and Down to spice things up a little bit!

Couple of line-up changes, as it always happens, and then they decided to be just a 2 piece acoustic band. Fabrizio Zortea on vocals and Ricky Stura on guitars and back-up vocals wrote and recorded 11 original songs which eventually became the debut Cd "This Fear That Clouds Our Minds"; eleven tracks where Johnny Cash meets Alice In Chains and Ennio Morricone's writing is tied up with Black Sabbath.

They are now promotin' the Cd with live gigs and they hopin' that some record company will take care of them......
